NTDC (WAPDA) has received a loan from Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development equivalent to Kuwait Dinars Ten (10) million towards the cost of Power Sector Development Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan towards the payment under the contract for procurement of insulated bucket mounted utility vehicles, live line insulator washing units and Trucks for live line Insulator Washing Units.

NTDC (WAPDA) hereinafter called the “Purchaser” now invites sealed bids from the eligible hereinafter called the “Supplier” from any country except those which are subject to boycott in accordance with the laws of State of Kuwait or Pakistan for the supply of Vehicles, detailed below:-

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by any interested eligible Bidder on the on the submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- w.e.f. 10/01/2009.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than (2%) of total Bid Price and must delivered to the above office on or before 25/02/2009 at 11:AM. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend immediately after the time set for the bid receipt.

The foreign suppliers/bidders shall quote FOB, CFR & CIF Karachi prices of the goods offered whereas the local suppliers/bidders shall quote the Ex-Works prices as well as FCS (NTDC Warehouse) prices, NTDC may place order on either basis.

The bidders must quote complete lot. Bids covering only a part of the lot wil be rejected. Evaluation and comparison of the bids will be carried out on lot wise basis.

NTDC reserves the right to accept/reject any tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.
