National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC), a corporate entity constituted after restructuring of WAPDA intends to purchase Supporting Steel Structures for 220 kV Post Insulators for interconnection of upcoming IPPs through open tender financed under NTDC’s own resources without involving any foreign exchange element on the basis of Free Delivery to Consignee’s Store (Kot-Lakhpat warehouse) in Pakistan.

The bid prices (in Pak Rs.) shall be firm and final and no escalation due to variation in costs of labour, material and any kind whatsoever shall be allowed.

The material shall conform to technical specification and Drawing No.PDW/TS-4968 mentioned in the bidding document.

The successful bidder will have to supply the goods/material within a maximum period of 60 days counted from the date of issuance of Letter of Intent/Notification of Award.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased on the submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.500/- w.e.f 11-05-2009.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than (2%) of total Bid Price and must be delivered to the above office on or before 24-06-2009 at 11:00 AM.

Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend immediately after the time set for the bid receipt.

NTDC reserve all its rights regarding rejection of bids as defined in Clause 33(1) of PPRA Rules 2004.
